Where you start shouldn't decide how far you go.

If Dove's Library Pro is out of reach, apply and we may cover it for the whole school year. That means full SAT prep, with every question, every practice test, and Dove AI, plus everything Pro adds for AP.

Who can apply?

Students who match all three of these.

You're putting in the work

You're preparing for the SAT or taking an AP class this year. Your grades don't have to be perfect. We care that you're trying to get better.

Pro is out of reach right now

Money is genuinely tight and a subscription isn't possible for you or your family at the moment.

You know what you're aiming for

A target SAT score, an AP score, college credit, a school you want to get into. Something specific you are working toward.

How it works

Four steps, start to finish.

01

Make an account and apply

Make a free Dove's Library account, then answer a few short questions about your situation, your goal, and how you would use Pro.

02

A real person reads it

We read applications in batches, and someone on our team reads every one. Applications are open all year, with no deadline.

03

Get Pro, free

If you are approved, we email you and unlock Pro through the end of the school year: the full SAT question bank, all 8 practice tests, Dove AI, and everything Pro adds for AP.

04

Reapply next year

Still need it next fall? Send a new application and tell us how this year went.

Why we do this

We are first-generation, low-income students. We didn't have it all either, so we understand. Pro keeps the lights on, and financial aid makes sure money is never the reason a student goes without real SAT or AP prep.

Apply for financial aid

Make a free account, then answer a few questions. No documents.

Financial aid questions

Who can apply and how it works

Pro stays unlocked through the end of the current school year, so it covers your SAT dates and the May AP exams.
We read your answers and look for the three things above: that you are working to improve, that money is the real barrier, and that you have a goal. If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, an AP exam fee reduction, or a college application fee waiver, mention it. It helps, but it is not required.
Answer each question in your own words. A few honest sentences each, about 50 to 150 words, is plenty. It does not need to be polished. We want to hear from you.
If you are approved, we turn Pro on for your account, so we need one to know where it goes. Making one is free, and it also gives you every AP note and the free SAT practice right away.
We read applications in batches, so it can take a little while. We email you once we have read yours.
No. Be honest about your situation and that is enough.
Yes. If your situation changes, or you have more to tell us, apply again. There is no limit.
Your account goes back to the free plan, which keeps every AP note and the free SAT practice. Nothing you saved is deleted, and you can reapply for the next school year.
Unfortunately, financial aid is only for individual students, so each student applies on their own. If you are interested in Dove's Library Pro for your school, use the Schools & Districts tab on our contact page and tell us about your students.
Email us at usedoveslibrary@gmail.com. We answer every message.
